Complete All-Fibre interferometer System with a laser :
This is a Rugar-type all-fibre interferometer system which can be used for AFMs and other experiments. It includes a pigtailed 1300nm/2mW very low noise laser with drive electronics, a 2x2 fibre coupler and two photodetectors. Laser can be switched on/off by with the software and there is a LED indicator at the front panel showing the laser’s status. Low-noise driver on the board regulates the laser power and the power level can be adjusted by the software. The output fibre, which goes to the interferometer is connected to the module by an FC/APC connector at the front panel. The gain of the photodetector amp can be software selected (x1,2,4,8). The relevant signals are sent to AD card as well as to front panel. The bandwidth of the amplifiers can be jumper selected. A noise reduction electronics is also included. There are special routines in the Windows control software which let you to do the following: Measurement of interference pattern during the positioning of the fiber slider at the back of the cantilever, extraction and display of relevant parameters for fiber alignment: pattern itself, visibility, slope of the pattern etc. Other wavelengths can also be customized. |
