SHPM
Scanning Hall Probe Microscopy Technique

SHPM is very effective in imaging magnetic fields. Currently, by this method we have a resolution up to 50 nm, that is 1/2000th of the diameter of the humain hair. SHPM also promises high sensitivity levels, at room temperature it has a magnetic reolution up to 7mG/ Hz , which is about 1/100th of the earthly magnetic field. One very distinguishing advantage is that you can image magnetic fields quantitatively, without disturbing the magnetic domain you are working with.

Worlds Smallest Hall Sensor 50nm

Low Temperature Scanning Hall Probe Microscope (LT-SHPM) is the backbone of our product range. This model is operational from mK-300K range and is suitable for imaging dynamic magnetic phenomenon with its capability of real time scans. LT-SHPM is also fully compatible with QD PPMS® devices.

Our Room Temperature model (RT-SHPM) is mainly designed for operation underlab conditions. It has motorized scan tables and thus suitable for imaging larger substrates.

Both of our microscopes can also operate in Atomic Force and Magnetic Force modes, as well as a scanning tunneling microscope.
