Electromagnets
NanoMagnetics Instruments electromagnets are designed and manufactured in-house to meet your research and measurement requirements. Depending on the model, they
offer magnetic fields up to ±3.7 Tesla, a 0–100 mm adjustable pole gap, and closed-loop operation with an embedded Hall probe gaussmeter. Water-cooled coils,
configurable pole faces, and optional optical access allow each system to be tailored to your experimental setup.

Electromagnets Built Around Your Experiment
NanoMagnetics Instruments designs and manufactures bespoke electromagnets in-house for research and measurement applications. Each system can be tailored to the magnetic field, sample access, and integration requirements of your experimental setup.
Magnetic Fields up to ±3.7 Tesla
The electromagnet range offers specified magnetic fields of ±2.5 Tesla with a 100 mm pole diameter, ±3.0 Tesla with a 150 mm pole diameter, and ±3.7 Tesla with a 250 mm pole diameter.
The pole gap is adjustable from 0 to 100 mm to accommodate different sample sizes and measurement arrangements. Available pole face diameters include 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, and 250 mm, with custom dimensions available on request.
Closed-Loop Field Control
An embedded Hall probe gaussmeter supports closed-loop operation. Specified magnetic field uniformity of ±0.5% in XYZ supports experiments that require a uniform magnetic field.
Water Cooling and Coil Monitoring
Cooling is applied through the coil faces. Each coil includes water flow and digital temperature sensors for safety monitoring. Air-cooled bipolar power supplies are available in 3, 5, and 10 kVA options.
Optical Access and Custom Configurations
Optional holes in the poles provide optical access for experiments that require a light path through the magnet. Pole geometry and other system requirements can be tailored to your application.
